Penya Farming Guide

Penya is the primary currency in Dragon Crusade. This guide covers all the best methods to earn Penya at every stage of the game, from fresh characters to endgame veterans.

Early Game (Level 1-150)​

Quest Rewards​

  • Complete all available quests for Penya rewards
  • Story quests often give substantial amounts
  • Repeatable quests can be a steady income source

Monster Drops​

  • Sell equipment drops to NPCs
  • Look for valuable crafting materials
  • Farm areas appropriate for your level

Dungeon Runs​

  • Kalgas Dungeon (Level 150)
  • Behemoth Dungeon (Level 150)
  • Sell dungeon drops to other players

Weapon Dust Conversion​

Salvage spare Ultimate weapons in the Reroll window (Weapon Dust / Armament Meltdown). Each salvage:

  • Destroys the weapon
  • Gives Weapon Dust (random amount: about 1.5% to 10% of that weapon's Gear Score, minimum 1)
  • Pays 1,000,000 Penya per dust
  • Adds 15 Kill Counter kills per dust, and also feeds Weapon Level on the weapon you currently have equipped

High Weapon Level on a cheap dungeon weaponDoes not mean a huge dust pile. Dust follows Gear Score, not "maxed" as a special bonus.

A maxed Vampire staff can still land around a handful of dust if its Gear Score is modest or the piece is bound.

Dragon Island​

"Dragon Island offers 3x Penya, 3x Boxes, and 3x Dragon Chips!"

Best farming location for Penya:

  • Located in premium areas
  • 3x multiplier on all Penya drops
  • Also triples item box drops
  • Dragon Chip farming bonus

DR40 Gear Recommendations​

When farming at Dragon Rank 40, you should aim for:

Weapons​

  • Bloody Dragon Weapons: From Crimson Cave (DR 40-50)
  • Priority: Get these as soon as possible

Armor​

  • Dragon Sets: Work toward DR 60 Ancient Castle
  • Use upgraded Kalgas gear until then

Accessories​

  • Shiny Necklaces: From Crystal Demon (DR 35+)
